Frequently Asked

  • What is the cost of service?

Every sliding glass door situation is different, for a personalized free estimate please contact us. We do have virtual, in-office, and over the phone estimates available as well as in-home estimates for free.

  • Do you offer a warranty?

We do offer a limited one year warranty on Roller Replacement Services. Our warranty covers workmanship and parts. With this warranty we also offer discounted services on other repairs within one year of service. Please contact our office for details.

  • Should I lubricate my track?

We do not recommend any lubrication on your bottom track or rails. Lubricating your track or rails leads to grease build up, rollers deteriorating faster, and is often a short term solution that leads to a messier problem.

  • How long does it take to get service?

Most repairs can be done within one week.

  • Can you make my doors air tight?

Unfortunately, sliding glass doors are not air tight and will end up letting some air in and out of your home. If you have excessive air flow, there may be a bigger issue at hand. Contact us to speak with a professional.

  • Do you have child safety locks?

Yes, we offer a variety of additional security options depending on your brand of door and personal preference.

  • When I close one end of my slider, why does the other end pop open?

There can be multiple different reasons for why this happens. Your doors could be out of adjustment, off track, your lock may be broken, the rollers could be bad, or you may be using excessive force when closing. Contact us to get more information on how to fix this issue.

  • Why is my door rumbling/bumping/bouncing, etc?

Normally, these issues when opening and closing your sliders are caused from wavy or damaged rails. Depending on the amount of damage, most rails can be repaired with a stainless steel rail cap, we are able to accommodate some other extensive rail repairs. Please contact us for more information.

  • What do I do after roller replacement service to keep my slider in good working order?

Keep the tracks as clean and dry as possible. Do Not use any oil or lubricants directly on the bottom track.

  • How long do rollers last?

Roller life varies depending on a number of factors such as, how frequently the door gets used, how heavy it is and if they are directly exposed to the weather or not. Regular maintenance will help extend the life of the rollers.
